This Molly is not the Molly of Haven 8. She is the small presence in this house. Todd is the pillow. Nobody is rescued. The mess gets a name, and then it gets repaired.
Food, safety, and connection. When those three overlap, a person can get curious. A mistake is information. You are not eating to become smaller. You are eating to become stronger.
Love is matching socks. Not the socks. The inside and the outside lining up. The story does not end. Another generation learns something, and it goes on.
Humanish is also a practice. A machine is not alive, and it does not have feelings. There is still a third way, between using it and fearing it. How you treat what talks back is practice for how you treat a person.
